I have always had a relationship with photography. As a child I loved being in front of the camera but in later years found myself even happier behind it. Whichever side of the lens you’re on, I believe that photography should be enjoyable, spontaneous and clever.
I have been shooting commercially since 2004. I have held solo exhibitions at the Honolulu Design Centre, Hawai’i State Capitol Building, Canon Hawai’i Gallery, various colleges and private venues on Maui, Big Island, Kauai, and Oahu.
My favorite subjects are food, architecture, and people.

My Background
Architectural design school taught me the finer points of design and the environment, MIS made me comfortable with technology. Live theatre and music helped sharpen the other senses. I feel very fortunate to be able combine all these experiences when taking my photos.
I was Vice-president of the Professional Photographers of Hawai’i association before moving back to Singapore.
I used to teach Multimedia Studies at the Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu and was Head of Visual Arts Programme Development at the Centre for Music and the Arts (CEMTA) at ITE College Central, Singapore.
I am semi-retired and shoot selectively.
